The workmanship is really good. The gauge of its steel seems just right, with no sharp edges or corners. The can itself is protected with plastic bumpers at the contact points, so I don't have to worry about about metal to metal contact while it is being jostled around on top of my Jeep.

I really love having things organized in my garage and barn and do not like leaving my jerry can "collection" on the ground to get wet with salty run off from my cars. I was able to wall mount this using some 1x4 wood in between two studs and then attaching this holder to that 1x4. I'll love that there are solid plastic pads to protect the jerry can from scratching and the securing lever on top has them too creating a very tight enclosure for the jerry can. Once closed, you need a good amount of force to open, which is exactly what you would want if mounted on a 4-wheeler. A simple pin and clip through the eyelet would remove any doubt. I did not realize I was going to value this as much until I saw the quality.

If you were wondering or had any doubt, these jerry cans and spouts are the REAL DEAL. They are made in the same factory in Latvia, by the same company Valpro. These are NOT Chinese knock off jerry cans. They are heavy, thick metal cans, with spouts that pour out fast, and don't leak! Both the cans and spouts are painted with a special epoxy paint. Even the jerry can mount holders are very well built, the only negative, the padlock hasp could be a little bit more heavy duty. Other than that, these are a great find at a great price! They should last many, many years! I highly recommend them.

The jerry can holder exceeded my expectations and fit my 10l jerry can perfect! It was great that it had a built in locking hasp for a padlock to keep my can safe from anyone wanting to just walk off with my can. I am using this to mount my jerry can on my 4 wheeler.
